Zazen Retreat Center in Ukiah
Join us for a deeply restorative and rejuvenating all-woman's retreat. Together we will slow down to the pace of nature as we unplug, unwind, and leave all those stresses from city life behind. With a focus on opening our hearts, grounding our energy and reconnecting with our own internal guidance systems.
Located just 2.5 hours north of San Francisco, in a secluded region of the Mendocino highlands between Ukiah and the Mendocino coast. Nested on forty acres atop a mountain with expansive views in all directions. Located within 20 min from Orr Hot Springs and the magical Montgomery State Redwood Forest.
The weekend will consist of Feldenkrais® lessons, sound & soul healings, yoga, laughter, hiking, feminine connection, meditation, and a ceremony under the stars. All classes are optional. You’ll also have plenty of free time to relax around the retreat center’s natural settings, take a soak in the mineral springs, and enjoy a hike through one of the most magnificent forests in California.
*Bodywork sessions and intuitive readings are also available for an additional fee.
What is Feldenkrais?
The Feldenkrais method® helps with the realignment of our bones, muscles and joints and with the coordination of our overall movement patterns. In each lesson, you will be guided through gentle movement sequences which have an extraordinary effect on adapting the nervous system towards its optimal state.

Retreat fees are per-person and include beautiful resort accommodations, use of all facilities, workshop/classes, 3 vegetarian meals/day featuring local ingredients, and peaceful spaciousness to support your journey.

Shara Ogin started her profession as an occupational therapist in 1994. Since then, she has focused on a career with a holistic approach integrating Feldenkrais, Clairvoyance and Life coaching, helping hundreds of people over the past decade to free their bodies of pain and live more conscious and aligned lives.
Shara is the author of 4 videos on fitness and pain management techniques, 1 Feldenkrais CD, and 1 book called "The Quick Guide to Easing Pain, in the Workplace & Beyond." She is working on her next book with a more metaphysical perspective about the mind/body and its relationship to our pain states.
Jen Hsu is an internationally trained Yoga Instructor. She completed her 200 RYT training through the Yandara Yoga Institute in Bali and focused on Hatha Flow, Yin and Restorative practices. Jen is also an Usui Reiki Level 2 practitioner, helping her clients harness energy for healing and relaxation.
Robin is an intuitive sound healing practitioner. She uses her voice to channel what she calls Soul Songs, for individuals and also for the soul of a group and are unique to each person or setting. Through the use of her voice, quartz and tibetan singing bowls, hand drums and other sacred sound instruments, she creates a field of vibration that can induce meditative states, remove blocks and facilitate the flow of energy. The soul songs are always improvised and consist of tones and ancient sounds that bypass the thinking mind and entrain and shift the listener's state to a place of peace and can help bring back harmony in the body. Robin has had a passion for sound healing for the past two decades and graduated from the Sound Healing Institute, in San Francisco in 2005
